Guest Speaker

Afternoon Tea

Our guest speaker will be Dr Celestina Sagazio, historian.   At present Dr Sagazio is the Manager of Cultural Heritage at the Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust.   For many years Dr Sagazio was the Senior Historian with the National Trust.   She has written a number of books, some of which are about cemeteries and has also organsied many of the successful walking tours of the Melbourne General Cemetery.   Her talk is entitled

"Interesting Cemetery tales and Humorous epitaphs".
