The Guest Speaker for the Coffs Harbour District Family History Society’s June Workshop will be Dr Leigh Summers, Director of Coffs Harbour Regional Art Gallery and Museum. She will be speaking about the social history of the Crinoline, a piece of clothing worn by women in the 1850s to support their skirt in conforming to a particular shape. This will be an illustrated workshop examining the history of this fascinating and controversial garment.
