It's Australia's oldest permanent Germanic settlement. Enjoy tales of Aboriginal and European inhabitants and the Pioneer Women's Trail. Visit two sites not normally open to the public. Discover over ninety nineteenth-century buildings and Hahndorf's medieval layout and its Settlers' interest in prospecting and mining since 1845. Maps provided.
