Wednesday, 31 August, 12 noon-1pm – Lunchtime with Carole Riley
Visiting professional genealogist Carole Riley, is on the council of the Society of Australian Genealogists and publisher of the book “Social Media for Family Historians”. With a background in IT, Carole has an avid interest in using the web to further genealogy research, and is a prolific blogger. She has particular interests in NSW and Fiji.
Come and hear about her research into Australian land records:- titles and deeds, maps and plans, conditional purchases and Crown leases, gazettes and directories, probate and deceased estates etc.
Take this opportunity to come and listen to an Australian researcher - of value to those with Australian research themselves, but just as applicable to New Zealand researchers.
