Making Sense of the Census - with Pauline Williams
Census records are an invaluable tool in locating where your ancestors lived, where they came from, who they were with, what they did for a living, and much more. Detailed census returns survive for England, Wales and Scotland at 10 year intervals from 1841 until 1911. Irish census returns survive for 1901 and 1911.
Unfortunately, Australian census returns are sparse. This course outlines the background to the censuses, what you may find, where you can access the data, and strategies to optimise search results.

Bookings are essential, book online at www.gsq.org.au
