There is a noticeable difference between the level of documentation of professional and white collar workers and blue collar workers in the 19th and early 20th century. This talk will be about the types of information available at Noel Butlin Archives Centre on different trades and professions and the people who practised them.

 Sarah is the Senior Archivist at the Noel Butlin Archives Centre and University Archives at the ANU.  Sarah has worked in the archives at the Department of Human Services in Victoria, the National Archives of Australia and has been at the ANU Archives since 2006. She completed an honours degree in history at the University of Adelaide and has Masters degrees in History and Information Management from Monash University
