FROM A SUNDAY TOO FAR AWAY traces the efforts of many who have been instrumental in creating some of Australia’s most iconic
films including Sunday Too Far Away, Breaker Morant and Storm Boy, to name just a few.
Curated by Melissa Juhanson (SAFC Project Manager & Manager, SAFC Collections) the exhibition features selected photographs, films
and related ephemera to tell the ‘behind-the-scenes’ stories of the South Australian Film Corporation (SAFC) as we celebrate our 40th year.
The SAFC's Film Archive forms the basis of this project and is recognised by the National Film and Sound Archive as being of national significance.
Come and view ‘never before seen’ images from the SAFC Collection (1972 – 1994). There will also be a section dedicated to projects the
SAFC has invested in from 1995 through to 2012.
Tuesday - Friday: 11am - 4pm
Saturday and Sunday: 12pm - 4pm
Closed public holidays
Admission to the exhibition is free
A public program of seminars, workshops and activities associated with the exhibition will also be presented.
