Warwick celebrates 150 years: 1861-2011

Southern Downs Regional Council in conjunction with local community groups is planning a 10 day celebration of this significant local milestone from May 20 to 29.

A series of lively events including specially written Variety Concerts, Pringle Cottage Museum Open Day, steam train festivities and a "Party in the Park" family fun day, will gather residents and visitors to celebrate our past, our people, our places and our stories.

The program is expected to include events of an artistic nature, cultural and community nature, in particular concerts, art exhibitions, historical tours and steam train festivities.

Submit stories and much more. Check out the website for a full program for the week.
