While government records are held by State Records of NSW, records produced by private organisations are held by the Mitchell and State Libraries in Macquarie Street, Sydney. These include microfilms of newspapers and church registers, directories, books (of course) and other valuable sources. This seminar will provide an overview of the sources available and how to access the type of records you are interested in.
